Close Ready: Transaction Coordinator

This is a sub-contracted position

At Close Ready we help realtors manage all the timelines, procedures, and paperwork that comes with buying and selling real estate. As a Transaction Coordinator, you are assigned one or multiple realtors to assist them in things like getting documents signed, sent, and appointments scheduled as needed to help them make it to closing with confidence. This is a totally remote position, perfect for someone looking to earn some extra income from home without the need to drive or coordinate childcare. Real estate has it’s high and low seasons, so you can expect your income and business to fluctuate a bit from month to month. But once you get into the rhythm of things, you can grow this into as many hours as you desire as you take on more clients.

Pay:  $300 per standard transaction (other rates apply)
Typical 2–4 transactions per month, with the ability to increase

Tasks: 

  • When an agent sends in a real estate contract, coordinator will review and track the deadlines listed

  • Coordinator will assist with all aspects of communication—helping ensure clients, title agency, lender, and real estate agents receive updates as needed. This may include helping set up delivery of necessary documents or checks. May also include helping schedule inspections or other providers as necessary. 

  • Coordinator will need to track all deadlines and remind agent of approaching dates

  • Coordinator will assist with paperwork (completion via online signature programs) 

  • Coordinator will respond to emails, phone calls, and text messages in a timely manner

  • Coordinator will help with scheduling closing appointments and send necessary emails to provide confirmation to clients

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate would be accessible and responsive by phone, email, and text throughout the day.  They would be able to handle stressful situations and exhibit patience and professionalism. They love to-do lists and calendars. This job is customer service oriented and is a great fit for someone who loves to serve. Email is provided, but cell phone and computer are the coordinator’s responsibility to maintain. Laptop is preferred to allow “on-the-go” flexibility with regards to working away from home.

This job occurs 7 days a week, with priority given M–F during typical working hours. Real estate doesn’t stop on the weekends. Working some on evenings or weekends should be expected. This job does not have any travel requirements and is completely remote. No in person services are required. The Close Ready team typically gathers 2–3 times per year for special events. Attendance is encouraged. 

Education & training

High school diploma required at minimum. Prefer candidates with at least an Associates or Bachelors degree, or some college experience. Job training is paid, on a graduating scale (lower pay escalating towards the full transaction fee at the completion of training).
